Briefly about Sapa Facade 4150 PH - Passive House

SAPA 4150 SX/PH fulfils the stringent passive house energy requirements set by the German certification bodies Ift Rosenheim. The system achieves low Ucw = 0.66 W/m2K. The profile is energy efficient, and with a wide choice of exterior decorative mouldings, there is freedom of exterior design.

Performance
SAPA 4150 SX/PH is a rectangular profile in several dimensions, adapted to withstand high loads. The profile width is 50 mm, and the stub profile depth varies between 35-300 mm for SX and 120-300 mm for PH. The system supports glass thicknesses up to 64 mm and is made of Hydro CIRCAL, an aluminium with at least 75 % recycled material. It can be completed with opening units and is PH certified for passive house standard according to IFT Rosenheim. The system offers high insulation performance thanks to a newly developed insulator and internal joint tape.

Thermal performance
The PH system achieves a low Ucw value of 0.66 W/m²K according to tests by IFT Rosenheim.

Density performance

  • Airtightness: Class AE1200 according to EN12152.
  • Watertightness: Class RE1200 according to EN12154.
  • Resistance to wind load: 2000 Pa according to EN13116.

Security and safety
The system is tested and certified with RC2 and RC3 class burglary protection according to EN1627.

Design
The system offers easy installation of openable units and has a wide range of frame profiles in different depths. I and T profiles provides great flexibility in interior design, while exterior decorative profiles create great design possibilities. For extra functionality, the system can be complemented with ADD glass holder, which allows for smooth assembly of solar panels, solar shading, signs, lightning rods, downpipes and gutters.

Low carbon footprint
Made of Hydro CIRCAL, an aluminium with at least 75 % recycled material from construction products. With a carbon footprint of only 1.9 kg of CO2 per kg of aluminiumthis is one of the most sustainable aluminium solutions on the market.
